Qwen (Tongyi Qianwen) is a family of language models from Alibaba Cloud and an international Qwen Chat chatbot built on them. The chat service is free, works in a browser and in apps, and supports sign-in via email or a Google account; a Chinese phone number is not required for the international version. Many Qwen models are released with open weights and rank among the most popular open models.
