Mistral AI

Mistral AI is the French AI assistant Le Chat from Mistral AI, powered by the company’s own models (Mistral Medium, Mistral Large, Mistral Small, and Devstral for coding). It answers questions, searches the web, writes and edits text, helps with code, analyzes files, and creates images. Mistral models are publicly available, the service stores data in Europe, and it is suitable for work subject to GDPR requirements.

What It Can Do

• Chat and search. Answers in Russian and other languages, web search with links to sources, and a deep research mode.
• Code. The Devstral agent works in the browser, command line, and IDE plugins: it writes, explains, and edits code.
• Files and documents. PDF and spreadsheet analysis, text recognition from images (OCR), and the creation of spreadsheets and presentations.
• Images. Generate and edit images directly in the chat.
• Integrations. More than 100 connectors to workplace services, agents, and a document library for teams.
• For developers. API pricing based on token usage (for example, Mistral Large costs $0.5 per million input tokens and $1.5 per million output tokens), Mistral Studio, and a 50% discount on batch processing.
