CustomGPT.ai is a no-code platform for creating AI assistants that answer questions based on a company’s data: websites, documents, knowledge bases, and videos. It runs on RAG technology: answers are generated from uploaded materials, and every answer includes a link to its source. It is suitable for website support chatbots, internal employee assistants, and documentation search.

What It Can Do

  • Your own data as a source. Websites via sitemap, PDF files, Office documents and Google Docs, YouTube, podcasts, and audio — more than 1,400 file formats in total.
  • Service integrations. WordPress, Wix, Shopify, HubSpot, Zendesk, Confluence, Notion, Slack, Google Drive, and Zapier; Premium also includes SharePoint and automatic change synchronization.
  • Answers with source links. The assistant relies on your materials rather than the model’s general knowledge, which reduces the number of hallucinated answers.
  • 92 languages. Questions and answers in different languages, including Russian.
  • Embedding. A ready-made website widget, LiveChat, and RAG API for custom applications.
  • Security. SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR; according to the company, customer data is not used to train models. Premium includes the removal of personal data and the CustomGPT logo, while Enterprise includes SSO, access roles, and private deployment.

Do I need a VPN to use the service?

It depends on your region. If the service is not available in your country, its site says so; a VPN is a way around regional limits, but follow the rules of the service and the laws of your country. The easiest check is to open the service site.

Is it safe to share my data with an AI tool?

Do not enter passwords, payment details, personal data or trade secrets. Many services store requests and may use them to train models, especially on free plans. Check the privacy policy and the settings of the service, where training can often be switched off.
